There are some cables that cannot be processed by our UV laser wire marking machines including cable that:
- is too large to go through a laser wire marker; or
- has an outer jacket that cannot be laser marked such as a transparent coaxial cable or or a dark coloured cable; or
- is unjacketed.
These cables therefore have to be processed by some other means. Our specialist Nova measure & cut systems have been designed to be able to handle the full range of cables from around 2mm up to 15.6mm OD, jacketed and unjacketed, with only a simple rotating wire guide – no need to change tubes or other fittings.
